Accomplishments for our Community

Projects Completed

Heidi has the unique experience of working in the Office of Council Chair Ernest Martin where she has worked for the past 5 years.  She has the opportunity to serve the residents of District 2 and oversee the completion of long-awaited community projects.  Heidi has worked diligently with City Departments on the rehabilitation of major thoroughfares such as California Avenue and Meheula Parkway and the repaving of nearly every City-owned residential roadway in the District.  She has also worked on Community Improvement Projects at the request of the community including upgrades to Wahiawa District Park Swimming Pool, replacement of play apparatus at Iliahi Community Park andWahiawa District Park, installation of the Whitmore Village sign, and construction of basketball courts at MililaniMauka District Park.  She has also organized community benefit projects such as the revitalization of softball fields in Wahiawa and Whitmore.  She has proven herself to be responsive and effective in addressing concerns and finding solutions to issue that arise in the community including homeless encampments, illegal dumping and request for installation of traffic calming devices.
